Dan, So sorry to hear about your Dad. I know it's been a long time, but wanted to let you know I am thinking about you and your family today.
One of the nice things about working at the Post-Dispatch is meeting people like Curt Kopp and keep them as friends.When I meet Curt in '79 it was instant friendship.Somehow after that it was twice a week for lunch and to me that was not enough.I just enjoyed every conversation,every joke and to me when someone share personal problems you know you are friends-I just wised we could have shared more time together.and the keyword is [time].Mr.Kopp thanks for sharing some of your time with me you will be missed.You touched a lot lives espcially mine[thanks]

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. We will say a prayer for your family and if there is anything our family can do for you, please let us know. Curt was one heck of a man. His personality really brightened everyone's day. There will definitely be an emptiness at Gruchala's now that he will no longer be gracing us with his presence. He will truely be missed. My condolences go out to his wonderful family. You will all be in my prayers.
