Craig 'Appy' Jahr , 49, of Columbia, IL, passed away at Columbia Convalescent Center, Columbia, IL. He was born in Belleville, IL, the son of Albert 'Appy' and Alice (Taake) Jahr. He had worked as a manager at Dickerson Petroleum, Belleville, IL and had been a member of the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department for 25 yrs.(2008 Fireman of the Year), Columbia Gymnastic Association, and had been an ICS Soccer coach. He was married to Gloria (Ruebke) Jahr, who survives him. They were married on June 4, 2005, in Columbia, IL.
