Colleen Cooper, nee Steele, 90 of Dupo, Ill., born, June 30, 1924 in Dupo, Ill, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County, MO.
Colleen was a member of the 1st Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill., and was a quilter at the church.
Colleen was preceded in death by her husband Luther T. Cooper, her parents, Bryant and Otha, nee Taylor, Steele, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Colleen is survived by her children, Gilbert (Sherie) Cooper of Dupo, Ill., Cheryl Ann (John Paul) Camp of Greenville, Ill., Philip (Sherrie) Cooper of Cadet, MO., Peggy (George) McDaniel of Dupo, Ill., and Keith (Norma) Cooper of Troy, MO., her same as children, Penny (Larry) Hofstetter of Dupo, Ill., Joe (Roseanne) Potvin of Kissimmee, FL., Brenda Allen of East Carondelet, Ill., and Tammy (Charlie) Sensat of East Alton, Ill. Her grandchildren, Dena (Phillip) Kimbrel, Michael (Lisa) Cooper, John Paul Camp III, Sarah Camp, Morgan Camp, Philip Marc (Suzi), Shannon (Ryan) Hodge, Jason, Josh (Nikki) Cooper, Jamie (Joe) Wagner, Taylor & Elizabeth Cooper, great grandchildren, Phillip, Matthew, Megan Kimbrel, Connor, Caden Cooper, Klayce, Kambrie Cooper, Noah, Colin Cooper, Madison, Hundley, Keeley, Kennedy Cooper, Catilyn Brizzi, Addison Wagner, Carter Hodges, her sister, Marjorie McClain. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the 1st Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at 1st Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at 1st Congregational Church in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Robert Lee, officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
