Cleta W. “Babe” Eckerd, nee Cleaves 70, of Cadet, MO., born December 13, 1944 in Gideon, MO., passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at her residence.
Cleta retired as a manager from the Dollar Tree.
Cleta was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus & Pearl, nee Blair, Cleaves, her siblings, Cletis Cleaves, Pearl Cargill, Jean Brassfield, Verlie Dunnivan, John Weller & Jim Weller, her sister-in-law, Brendia Chaney.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Eckerd, her children, Dale (Rose) Hadley, Scott Hadley, Dana (Roy) Staub, Brian Eckerd, Dawn (Mickey) Bowyer, Anton Beckmann & Walter Hadley, her siblings, Emma Weller, Carrie Machon, Helen Weller, Jodie Tanner & Connie Johnson, her sister-in-law, Barbie Pryor, her brother-in-law, Ronnie Eckerd. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice in Farmington, MO.
Visitation will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill., with Pastor Dale Stringer, officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, Ill.
