OBITUARY
Claudette Harris
Claudette Harris, 79 years old of Marion, IL, passed away on September 12, 2019 at Helia Healthcare, in Energy, IL. She was born June 2, 1940, in Marion, IL. Claudette was the daughter of Claude Henderson and Dimple "Aline" nee Harris, Henderson.
Claudette was employed at Gambles and K-Mart while living in Watseka, IL and then worked at Toys R Us in Marion, IL. Bill and Claudette enjoyed league bowling for many years. Claudette enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas. She loved visits with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved keeping up with friends and family by way of Facebook.
Surviving are her husband Bill Harris; her two daughters, Pamela (Tom) Ely, and Kim Menigoz; her son, Shane (Sandy) Harris; her grandchildren, Chad (Joy) Ely, Derek (Dominique) Ely, Jennifer Menigoz (fiance, Matt Uribe), Nic Menigoz (partner, Don Rich), Amy (Jason) Harris-Daniels; great grandchildren, Jocelyn Ely, Eliana Ely, Leila Ely, Mila Ely, Khanon Uribe, Jordana Uribe, Kinley Daniels, and Sawyer Daniels; her brothers, Gary Henderson of Jefferson City, MO, and Terry Binkley of Marion, IL; many nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Yvonne Messier; her brother Tom Henderson; her granddaughter, Amanda Harris.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Goddard Chapel in Marion, IL at 11:00 AM , Inurnment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion, IL.
