Clark Butler Ragsdale's Obituary
Clark Butler Ragsdale, 81, of Dupo, Ill, born October 3, 1935 in Jadwin, MO., passed away Tuesday February 7, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Clark was retired from Cerro Copper. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dupo, Ill., the Columbia Sportsman’s Club, and he was an avid bowler and golfer.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Audrain Ragsdale and Clara, nee Halbrook, Key.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis Ragsdale, nee Woods, his two sons, Keith Ragsdale and Chris (Crystal) Ragsdale, his grandchildren, Megan, Brittney, Matthew, Maggie, Kelsey, Morgan, Tori, and Madison Ragsdale, his great grandchildren, Michael and Aiden Ragsdale, his brother, Hershel (Delores) Ragsdale, his sister, Marie (Eldon) Thomas, his brother, Dean (Ida Mae) Ragsdale, he is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Dupo, Ill.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church (620 Godin Ave.,) in Dupo, Ill., and on Friday, February 10, 2017 an hour before the service at the church.
Funeral services will be on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Dupo, Ill., with Rev. Roger Reid, officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
