Clarence was retired from the Millstadt School District as a Bus Driver and Custodian with over 20 yrs. service. He attended Christ Community Church, Columbia, IL, and had been active with Columbia Blue Lodge # 474 AF & AM - Past Master 1971 (Services Sunday evening 7 p.m. at the funeral home), Freedom Shrine # 37, past Watchman of the Shepard Monroe Chapter # 597, Royal Arch Keystone Chapter # 146 RAM, Mehlville Trowel Club, Sword of Bunker Hill # 73, Honorary Member Mehlville Chapter # 187 OES, Faith Shrine # 28, Unity Shrine # 29, Harmony Shrine # 112, and the Columbia Historical Society.
