He was preceded in death by his parents: Adam & Lena, nee Haas, Scharf, his brothers & sisters: Edna Scharf, Alma Scharf, Harold Scharf, & Edgar Scharf. He is survived by his sisters: Irma Scharf of Belleville, IL. & Frieda Vogt of Belleville, IL., he is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heart Association.
