Christopher W. Sins, 34, Bouse, AZ, born April 27, 1990 in Belleville, IL passed away November 9, 2024 in the Sonoran Desert near Salome, AZ.
Chris went missing July 22, 2024 and body found November 9, 2024.
Chris attended Millstadt Grade School; White Oak Academy and Belleville West High School. He was a caring and kind person who will be missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed rock hounding in the Arizona desert, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Chris loved making people laugh and enjoyed riding four wheelers. When younger, he was awarded B.E.T Track Champion two years in a row.
Chris Sins was a devoted Son, Brother, Nephew, and Cousin.
Chris was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Walter and Maria (Haas) Sins of Belleville, IL, and Archie and Shelva (Cauley) Carron of Millstadt, IL; Uncles, Ronald Carron of Springfield, IL, James Thompson of Millstadt, IL, and Timothy Clossen of Baldwin, IL; Cousins, Gary L. Mollet of Belleville, IL and Joe Judy of Fayetteville, IL.
Surviving are his Father, Walter W. Sins of Bouse, AZ; Mother, Wanda F. (Carron) Sins of Sevierville, TN; Sister, Nicole M. Sins (Tim and Anakin Floyd) of Sevierville, TN; Brother, Joshua L. (Tori) Sins of Belleville, IL; Aunts and Uncles, LuAnn Carron of Springfield, IL, Connie Thompson of Millstadt, IL, Sandra Clossen of Sparta, IL, Shirley (Joe) Avellone of Belleville, IL, Archie F. (Teressa) Carron of Belleville, IL, Geraldine (Ron) Richardson of Belleville, IL, and Carol (Steve) Skaer of Belleville, IL; Godparents, Bob and Marlene Haas of Belleville, IL; as well as many cousins, their spouses and their children, as well as his loyal companion, Remy (pet boxer).
Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home, Millstadt, IL. Services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 12:00 pm with Justin Goodson officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the family to assist with funeral expenses. The family is accepting donations through Venmo or a GoFundMe has been established.
