Mr. Koonce was preceded in death by his parents: Chester M. and Bertha C. Koonce Sr., nee Skipper, his brother: John S. Koonce, and his 2 sisters: Margaret LaCook and Joyce Coomer. Mr. Koonce is survived by his wife of 49 years: Wanda M. Koonce, nee Brown, his 3 sons: Rick (Nancy) Koonce, Jeff (Wanda) Koonce, & Michael (Kendra) Koonce., his daughter: Rhonda (Donald) Johnson, his brother: Bill (Mary) Koonce, his sister: Marvene (Audie) Koonce, his step-sister: Brenda (Ernie) Broyhill, his 10 grandchildren: Scott & Jason Koonce, Malina & Stephanie Johnson, Brittany Koonce, Taylor, Mallory, Micayla, Brayden and Bryce Koonce, and his great grandchild: Ali Pope. Also survived by other relatives & friends. Memorials may be made to Family Hospice of the Belleville Area or First Baptist Church Building Fund in Dupo, IL.
