Charlotte D Thomas (nee Burrows), 81 of Millstadt, IL. Born September 12, 1934 in Quincy, Il, passed away March 29, 2016.
Charlotte was a CNA in the neonatal unit at Memorial Hospital, and was an Avon Representative for 25 years.
She was an avid Bingo player, bowler, den mother, and a member of the Cahokia Lioness Club for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James “Jim” Thomas, her parents, Dean and Anne (nee Evans) Burrows, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Jana Thornton, Jeff Thomas, Jay Thomas, Stephen (Leslie) Thomas, and Allen Thomas, grandchildren, Christine (John) Chouinard, Ian Thomas, Luke Thomas, Ryan Thomas, and Matthew Thomas, great-grandchildren, Jake, Jessica, Brendan, and Hailey Chouinard.
Memorials may be made to Belleville Area Humane Society, or St. James Catholic Church of Millstadt, IL.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL
Funeral services will be Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL., with Monsignor Marvin Volk, officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
