He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie & Ocie, nee Banks, Stricklin, his son: Trent Stricklin & 10 brothers & sisters. He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Sandra Stricklin, nee Poole, his son: Richard (Lori) Stricklin of Dupo, IL., his daughter: Tracie (Steve) Amsden of Dupo, IL., his grandchildren, whom he thought the world of: Richard Stricklin Jr., Jason Stricklin, Tommy Amsden, & Ciara Amsden, his great grandchildren: Savannah Amsden, Jason Charles Stricklin Jr., Jacob Charles Stricklin, & Zoee Stricklin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Charlie retired as a truck driver from Eilermann Transfer in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of Teamster Local 600, PGA, and he loved to golf, fish, hunt and gardening. He also enjoyed horse racing. He was a United States Navy Veteran. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation - Dialysis.
