Charles William Theis' Obituary
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, William and Molly, nee Angell, Theis, his father-in-law, Leland McIntosh, his brothers, Alvin, Carl, Ed, Norman and Otto Theis, his sisters, Elsie Davis, Wilhelmina Menees, Mary Louis and Lena Theis. Charles is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Theis, nee McIntosh, his daughters, Karen (Bob) Mueller and Angela Theis, his son, Charles Brian Theis, his grandchildren, Jason (Jamie) Mueller, Alyssa Theis, Carly Choate, Courtney, Austin and Zackary Theis, and Chelsie Lang, his great granddaughter, Charlotte L. Mueller, his brothers, Howard Theis, Raymond Theis, Larry Theis and Gilbert Theis, his sisters, Emma Richardson and Marie Cupp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Charles worked at Hunter Packing as a butcher for 25 years. He later worked for Millstadt Township and the Village of Millstadt. Charles was very proud of his days volunteering for the Millstadt Union Fire Department, and that he coached all three of his children in little league. He also volunteered delivering meals on wheels for the Millstadt Senior Center. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He passed his love of the great outdoors onto his children and grandchildren. He found great joy when his family gathered at the lake during the summer enjoying days on the lake and nights building bonfires.
