Charles Edward Schofield, Jr., 88 yrs., of Zeigler, IL, passed away at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, IL. He was born in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Charles and Anna (Stieble) Schofield. Charles retired after 43 yrs. from Carling National Brewery, Belleville, IL. He attended Foot At The Cross Church, Zeigler, IL, and had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and was a Veteran of World War II. He was married to Lillian (Juelfs) Schofield, who survives him. They were married on November 22, 1958.
