Charles "Charlie" Leon Todd's Obituary
Charles "Charlie" Leon Todd, 75 years old of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. He was born October 19, 1946, in New Madrid, MO.
Charlie retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. Charlie was a member of the Millstadt Commercial Club, a trustee for the Millstadt Township board, board member for the Millstadt Senior Center, he also was a volunteer for the Millstadt Senior Center and he also drove their bus, he served as board President for Millstadt Consolidated School District #160, he was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and he had been the Vice President of the Letter Carriers Union and Charlie enjoyed crappie fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Judy Todd, his daughter, Lori (Bryan) Wilson, his son, Michael (Tara) Todd, his grandchildren, Kyle (Hannah) Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Tyler Wilson (fiancé Julie Blaise), Mira Todd and Payton Todd, his great granddaughter, Leni Wilson, , his siblings, Larry (Peggy) Todd, Robert (Maggie) Todd, Lloyd (Joan) Todd, Wanda McKinzie and James (Kathy) Todd, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc R. & Goldie, nee Fobar, Todd, his son, Brian Edgar Todd, his step-son, Kevin Davis, his sisters, Evelyn Halcomb, Marie Herbert, and Donnie Coyer and his brother Jewell Todd.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. Private family services will be held on Friday with private burial at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the Millstadt Senior Center. Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL.
