Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph Earl & Mary P., nee Kappler, Snider, her brothers, James Snider & Leonard Snider, her sisters, Peggy Snider, Ida Allgood and Patricia Edgar & her son: Jerry Brooks. Cecilia is survived by her husband, Joseph Brooks, her daughters, Cathy (Curt) Klages, Yvonne (Rick) Satterfield, & Mary (Tom) Gibson , her grandchildren, Daniel Klages, Joseph Klages, Angela Call, Steven Gibson, step-grandchildren, Ricky and Randy Satterfield, her brother, Roy Snider, and she is also survived by other relatives & friends. Cecilia retired from Dupo Community High School District 196. Memorials may be made Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the American Cancer Society.
