I am so sorry that I missed the obituary of Catherine. I knew her when I was in Dupo, IL. She was a very generous and giving woman. She also had a great sense of humor. My sympathy to all the family. I know this late. I first discovered this today.
I was sorry to see this ,I went on line to read my Sister's Obituary. and there was Catherine's picture. I grew up across the street from Catherine and Roy.On MC Bride Ave.she was a wonderful person and All the Young kids loved her.She cut off my long pony tail and gave me a 50'S boy hair cut,loaned out their bike and would sit and talk with the neighborhood teenagers by the hour.They had 4 Children when I married and moved away but I always was happy when I got to see her anywhere.She was truly a wonderful lady.Had I known I would have been up to see her family.I know she will be sadly missed Pat (Young) Goss

Aunt Catherine was a joy to know. Her laugh was infectious and her stories where the best. She lived a very full life and she will always be in my heart. My prayers go out to the family. Love to you all.

Catherine was always fun to be around, always had a smile and a sense of humor. Her skits at the Sacred Heart Womens Club Christmas parties were the best. She will be missed. My prayers are with the family. Sandy (Walls) Ferrell.
Even though I haven't seen Aunt Catherine for many years I will always remember or as one of the kindest women I have known She had a great sense of humor and always seem to know the most sensible way to solve a problem She left a very positive memory for me from my childhood. My heartfelt sympathies go to her children, my cousins. for this loss. I wish I could be there to give each and everyone of you a hug this weekend when you celebrate her life.
