Carolyn Linda Goshen's Obituary
Carolyn Linda Goshen, 78 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. She was born March 25, 1947, in Centralia, IL.
Carolyn was a retired secretary from the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL. and a member of the women's guild at the church, , the Lions Club in Dupo, IL. for over 10 years, and past president, she enjoyed playing bingo whenever she could, especially bar bingo on Mondays. She also enjoyed yard sales and her beloved 1969 blue Camaro.
Surviving are her daughter, Amy Goshen, her son, Aaron Goshen, her Grandchildren, Jasmine Goshen and Conner Goshen, her great-grandchildren, Dexten Reed and Eaven Reed, her brother and sister-in-law, Franklin S. and Denise Schaubert, her sister-in-law, Leona Nusbaum, her aunt, Dorothy Schaubert, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold N. and Frances G., nee Russo, Schaubert, aunts and uncles, Joe Schaubert, Jim & Viva Wright, Berl Schaubert, and Mary & John Branca and her grandparents Sam & Lena Russo.
Carolyn's favorite color was blue and they request that those attending wear blue at the visitation and the funeral.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Christ United Church of Christ, Dupo, IL, and Wednesday, June 25, 2025, 9:30 am - 10:30 am, Christ United Church of Christ, Dupo, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., with Rev Todd Mushaney, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Centralia, IL.
