Carolyn Fay Agne's Obituary
Carolyn Fay Agne, 71 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at de Greeff Hospice House, St. Louis, MO. She was born in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Jesse Otto and Stella (Nickles) Pilcher. Carolyn received her secondary education at the University of Missouri, earning degrees in English and Art. During her early years she worked as a clothing and shoe designer. She worked for Darcy Advertising, where she received the "St. Louis Darcy Award". She taught art at Central Jr. High School, for Belleville District 118, where she was known as "Miss Pilcher". She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority at the University of Missouri and St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL. She was married to James Harold Agne, who survives her.
