Carole Jean Harres' Obituary
Carole Jean Harres, 90 years of Columbia, IL, passed away on February 13, 2026, at EverVella of Swansea, Swansea, IL. She was born January 24, 1936, in Belleville, IL, to the late Walter and Hilda, nee Heimrich, Sheets.
Carole mostly kept to herself, but she did enjoy tole painting and she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna (David) Lang, grandson, Joshua (Mandi) Lang, great-granddaughter, Lila Lang and daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn Harres.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert Harres, her son, Jack Harres and grandsons, Dustin Harres and Alex Harres
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
