Carol "Sis" E. Sager's Obituary
Carol 'Sis' E. Sager, 69 years of Ava, IL, formerly of Columbia, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born January 21, 1954, in Belleville, IL.
Sis loved to ride her Big Dog motorcycle. She enjoyed going boating and loved her puppies, Baby & Buddy. She had owned S and J Main Street Tavern in Columbia, IL, Sis's Getaway in Gorham, IL & Main Street in Ava, IL.
Surviving are her sons, Matt Mason of Spring Hill, FL & Brian Mason of Ava, IL, her grandchildren, Zuri & Zeven Mason-King and Haley Kirchner, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester H. & Jessie Mae, nee Donley, Sager, her daughters, Kimberly Kruse-Schmid & Tonya Kruse-Kirchner.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Columbia, IL.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Columbia, IL., with Jim Jarvis, officiating.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Glenn Cemetery in Rockwood, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the family to help with funeral expenses.
