Carol J. Butcher's Obituary
Carol J Butcher, nee Patterson, 88 years of Millstadt, IL, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born August 31, 1933, in East St. Louis, IL.
Carol retired from Mercantile Bank in St. Louis. She enjoyed taking bus trips with her sister Betty Jean Hart, and she enjoyed playing bingo at the K of C Hall in Cahokia.
Dean would like to give a special thank you to the staff of BJC Hospice for the love and care they gave to Carol.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Wm. Dean Butcher, her three brothers, Henry Patterson, Darrell Patterson and Gary Patterson, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Lynch, her parents, Henry "Roe" and Nettie, nee Wood, Patterson, her brothers. Morris Patterson, Ted Patterson and Bill Patterson, and her sister, Betty Jean Hart.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL, Graveside services will be at 12:45 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Donor's Choice. Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home.
