Carl A. Wenkel's Obituary
Carl A. Wenkel, 77, of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Anthony's de Greeff Hospice House, St. Louis, MO. He was born in Columbia, IL, the son of the late Elmer and Dora (Reichert) Wenkel. He was a retired Supervisor from Turner Electric Company and had been a member of American Legion Post 581 Columbia, IL, Columbia Gymnastic Association, and B.P.O.E. 2503, St. Louis, MO. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was married to Rosetta (Tebbenhoff) Wenkel, who survives him. They were married on July 3, 1954, at St. Louis, MO.
