Carl W "Tootie" Stacy's Obituary
Carl W. “Tootie” Stacy, 87 of Millstadt, Ill., born, March 14, 1927 in Elvins, MO., passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Carl worked for St. Louis Car Company and Carter Carburetor. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert & Jessie, nee Unsell, Stacy, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Carl is survived by his wife of 61 years, Billie Stacy, nee Evans, his children, Carla (Richard) Lock, Cheryl (Mark) Harris, and Charlotte (Steve) Gore, his grandchildren, Shayne (Bob) Elie, Jessica Lock, Justin Lock, Holly Gore, his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Blake, Olivia & Ava, his brother, Jason (Louise) Stacy, his like son, Jerome Lock. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Strauss-Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, Ill..
Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO., with full military honors.
