Carl Clossen's Obituary
Carl Clossen, 74 years of Waterloo, IL, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his residence, Waterloo, IL. He was born July 18, 1948, in East Saint Louis, IL.
Carl served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed going to stock car races, bowling, fishing, and tinkering with old cars.
He is survived by his siblings, John A. (Cheryl) Clossen of Waterloo, Bernard (Denise) Clossen of Smithton, Auggie (Brenda) Clossen of Swansea, Bill (Betsy) Clossen of Centralia, Donna Barber of Pinckneyville, and Tim (Sandy) Clossen of Baldwin, IL, his daughter, Donna Clossen of Austin, TX, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, August Antone Clossen; mother, Ruby Mae Clossen; and two sisters, Nancy Appel, Jessie Styker, brother-in-law Louis Barber and sister-in-law Sharon Clossen.
Arrangements were handled by Leesman Funeral Home.
