Candace "Candy" Irene, nee Wilson, Patton, 61, of Columbia, IL, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL. She was born in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Ross and Grace, nee Stephens, Wilson. She was married to the late Melvin D. Patton. They were married on August 15, 1970, and he had passed away August, 17, 2009. She was a member of the Villa Hills Baptist Church, Belleville, IL. Candy loved her family and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially caring for her horses, watching the sunset over her pond, and laughing with her friends.
