OBITUARY
Bruce K. Kremer
Bruce K. Kremer, age 66 of Columbia, IL, passed away on January 22, 2025 at his home. He was born January 1, 1959, in Centreville, IL. to the late Dr's. Otto L. Kremer and Ingeborg M. Kremer.
After graduating high school Bruce went on to get his Associates degree from Southwestern Illinois College. He went to work at Washington University where he was a computer operator for 23 yrs. Bruce was a music lover, he liked all kinds of music but he especially loved classical music. He so enjoyed playing classical music on the piano. He had a vast collection of cd's and old movies and had an incredible ability for recalling minute storyline details and technical facts.
Surviving are his siblings: Harald Kremer, Norbert Kremer, Barbara Gill (Dr. Charles Gill), Ingrid Kremer and Andrew Kremer (Dawn). Nieces and nephews: Natalie Diehl, Nick Diehl, Lauren Rainbolt (Wes), Suzanne Gill Cook (Molly), Charles Gill III (Trey), Chris Mace (Michelle), Sara Carle (Jeremy), Katie Johnston (Adam), Drew Kremer, Anneliese Kremer, brother-in-law, Patrick Mace along with several great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, his sister, Patricia Mace and sister-in-law Barbara Kremer.
Visitation will be held Thursday January 30, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Leesman Funeral Home in Columbia. Funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Evangelical St. Paul cemetery in Columbia, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the St. Paul United Church of Christ or the Columbia public library.
