Bruce Howard Bennett's Obituary
Bruce Howard Bennett, 67 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO. He was born July 25, 1955, in Saint Louis, MO.
He enjoyed watching baseball and bowling in his spare time. He worked at various hospitals throughout his career including DePaul and Connect Care.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Diane Bennett, and Larae Hockenberry, his sister, Sharon Nugent of Dupo, IL, his seven grandchildren, Brandy Marie Bennett, Aaron Bennett, Bridney Deann Bennett, Brandon Michael Gardner, Kyler Dru Gardner, Andrew Bruce Dodson, Zoe Renae Hockenberry, and Nicole Hayes, his five great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Kenneth Bennett; mother, Muriel June Bennett; and daughter, Jessica Marie Bennett; brother, Robert Horner, sister; Cheryl Rae Bennett.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to American Heart Association 460 N. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63141.
