Brittany Nicole Jackson's Obituary
Brittany Nicole Jackson, 31 years of Cahokia Heights, IL, passed away on September 3, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born August 13, 1993, in Centreville, IL.
Brittany lived a life full of happiness and smiles. She loved painting her nails and filling in coloring pages to help relax. Her life was full of adventure and thrills, whether it be a trip to Six Flags, riding four-wheelers, or going swimming. She also enjoyed baking cookies and listening to a wide variety of music. Always finding beauty in the smallest of things, she loved the color purple and butterflies. Above all else, what Brittany cherished the most was the time spent with her children and family.
Surviving are her Children, Kane Jackson, Kole Jackson, Kade Jackson, Kendra Jackson, and Anthony Wilson; Mother, Anita Jackson; Siblings, Richard Hurd, Jr., Ricky Richardson III, Cody (Hanna Loeffler) Richardson, Christopher (Jade Reno) Chartrand, Jr., Dawn (Larry Conner) Chartrand, Lisa Ketterer, Matt Ketterer, Drake Richardson, Zack Richardson, and Alexis Sutton; Grandparents, William and Sherry McCaslin and Ricky and Jeanie Richardson, Sr.; Aunts and Uncles, Gerry (Kenneth) Barnett, Tonya Jackson, Alvin (Barb) Jackson, April (Kenneth) Fults, Ashley (Daniel) Scott, Amanda (Bill) Hancock, Jennifer (Kenneth) Keys, Dennis Richardson, Michelle Howard, Pattie (Charles) Ketterer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Brother, Kyler Richardson; Grandmothers, Sandy Jackson and Bonnie Ketterer; Uncle, Ricky Jackson; Cousin, Reggie Allen; and Great-Grandparents.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2024, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, at Leesman Funeral Home, Dupo, IL. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Cremation will follow the services.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the family.
