Bonnieta C. Wiechert's Obituary
Bonnieta C. Wiechert, 92 years of Dupo, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. She was born October 9, 1928, in Gorham, IL.
Bonnieta was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., and a lifetime member of the VFW ladies auxiliary in Dupo, IL.
Surviving are her son, Curtis (Susie) Wiechert; her three Daughters, Jennifer Rhyne, Priscilla French (James) and Cathy (Lloyd) McDonald; her grandchildren; Steve Wiechert, Becky Dickinson, Tim Wiechert, David (Rachel) Wiechert, Josh (Alicia) Wiechert, Clair Wiechert, Lindsay McDonald and Matt McDonald; her great-grandchildren, Alexander (Sarah) Dickinson, Addison Wiechert, Seth Wiechert, Cole Wiechert, Elly Wiechert, Caraline Wiechert, Michael Wiley and Maverick Stein; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61years, Curtis Carl Wiechert; her parents, Alfred and Clara, nee Stewart, Cleveland; her four sisters, Nina Gulley, Pauline Cleveland, Versa Guilford and Doris Cleveland; her two brothers, Idus Cleveland and Dewey Cleveland; her son-in-law, Donald "Puggy" Rhyne; and her grandson, Derick Dickinson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL., and on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., with Pastor Todd Mushaney, officiating. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
