Bonnie Sue Story's Obituary
Bonnie Sue Story, 76, of Cahokia, IL, passed away on August 15th, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, O’Fallon, IL. She was born August, 30th, 1944 in Belleville, IL to Robert “Pop” L. and Irene Clemateen “Clem” Mason.
Surviving is her husband, Sammie Story, her sons; Keith (Kimberly) Story, Sammie (Lisa) Story, and David (Ashley) Story, daughter, Tammy (Michael) Powell, brothers; Bob Mason, and Herman (Debbie) Mason, grandchildren; Shane Story, Matt Gould, CJ Gould, Joseph Gould, Spencer Powell, JT Madrid, Hannah Story, Lauren Madrid, Gabe Madrid, Holly Story, Bree Story, and Brantley Story, along with great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Bonnie was a loving woman who enjoyed going to yard sales, spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Virginia Mason.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 21st from 9AM - 12PM at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL. Services will be held Saturday, August 21st at 12PM at Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, IL with Rev. Jim Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow in the Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
