Bobby L. Johnson's Obituary
Bobby L. Johnson, 84 years, of Columbia, IL, passed away on October 17, 2018. He was born March 18, 1934, in Arlington, KY, son of the late Otis and Lillie Mae, nee Vance, Johnson. He was married to the late Anna Mae, nee Higgins, Johnson. They were married December 31, 1967. She had passed away May 30, 2017.
Mr. Johnson was a past member of Columbia Blue Lodge #474 AF & AM, Columbia, IL, and the Columbia Gymnastic Association. He had retired from Slay Transportation, St. Louis, MO.
Surviving are two daughters, Deb Williams of TN, and Beth Eylaine Curry of TN; step-daughter, Connie (Dave) Sauerwein of Columbia, IL; daughter-in-law, Becky Toon of Columbia, IL; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Johnson of Arlington, KY, along with other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his three sisters, JoAnn Allison, Martha Grubbs, and Shirley Wilson; brother, Clyde Johnson; step-sons, Mike and Gary Toon.
Private family services were held.
