John Thomas
Bill was my longtime neighbor during my childhood. Bill and Janice were the best neighbors I could have asked for. Every Halloween, Bill and Janice always had a gift pack for myself and my four brothers. Our Mother past away in 1990, and Bill and Janice brought food, and provided satbility for the Thomas family during a difficult time.
In fact, Bill helped my Dad install our basketball hoop, which ended out paying for my college education. I cannot tell you how many Summer afternoons I would be shooting baskets, and Bill would be on his Green riding mower tending to his immaculate yard. I would still be shooting, and Bill would then begin the Barbeque. It seemed like every night it was the same routine of shooting baskets all afternoon and talking to Bill before my Grandma called me in. It never failed for Bill to offer me dinner before I left.
I want to extend my deepest sympothy to Janice and the family. If there is anything I can ever do, please let me know. I'm only a half hour away, and it is the least I can do after all the kindness Bill and Janice showed me in my childhood.
