Billie was preceded by his wife: Peggy Hawkins, nee Nunley, his parents: Bill & Bertha, nee Sparks, Hawkins and his father-in-law: Marshall Nunley. Billie is survived by his children: Eric (Jennifer) Hawkins & Brian Hawkins, his grandchildren: Alyssa (Sean) Dolan, Tyler Hawkins, Andy Ambrose, Michael Ambrose & Kaitlyn Ambrose, his great grandchildren: Norah & Fiona Dolan, his sisters: Janet (Stan) Kitzmann & Glenna Ford, his mother-in-law: Christine Grubb. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Billie retired from Wonder Bread as a baker. He was a member of Trinity General Baptist Church and the Bakery & Confectionary Union. Memorials may be made to Trinity General Baptist Church in Dupo, IL.
