Betty Otten, 94 years, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away on May 21st, 2023 in Red Bud. She was born August 24th, 1928 in Herrin, Illinois to Harry and Alta (Hodson) Byers.
Beloved wife of the late Amos. Loving mother of Terri (Ed) Bauer and Tim Smerz. Grandma of Mike and Daryl Bauer, and Kimberly (James) Sutton. Great Grandma of Brenden Bauer and Audrey Sutton. Great-Great Grandma of Kinsley and Jameson Bauer. Survived by her nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 26th, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, IL. Services will be held Friday, May 26th, 2023 at 11:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, IL. Inurnment will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Red Bud, IL.
In lieu of customary remembrances, we request with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the family.
