Betty Jean Kreher's Obituary
Betty Jean Kreher, nee Volkmann, 86 years old, lifelong resident of Millstadt, IL., passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL. She was born January 1, 1932, in Millstadt, IL.
Betty was a 1949 graduate of Belleville Township High School. She worked for St. Clair Service Company for 20 years and she also worked various secretarial jobs with the last 19 plus years at Central Bank of St. Louis in Millstadt, IL. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL. the Ladies Aide at Trinity, the Millstadt Historical Society, and the Sister Cities.
Surviving are her Son, John (Rose) Kreher; her Daughter, Christa (Bob) Desiderio; her Grandchildren, Jack & Emma Desiderio; her nephews, Dale Huwer & Bob (Angie) Huwer; along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, John & Hilda, nee Werner, Volkmann and her Two Sisters, Pearl O'Sick & Doris Huwer.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt, IL. and on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL.
Services will be held Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Millstadt, IL., with Pastor Peter Ill officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Millstadt, IL.
