She was born in Valmeyer, IL, the daughter of the late Leander S. and Frieda E., nee Vogt, Melliere.Many locals will remember Betty from the Ace Hardware and Rouses, where she had worked for many years..She was married to the late Merril A. Huch. They were married on June 7, 1947, in St. Louis, MO. He had passed away October 24, 2007.
