Linda so sorry for the loss of your mom. Mine has been gone 30 years and I miss her every day. So nice you had all these years with her. I remember a sleepover at your house when we were in high school and she fixed us T-bone steaks. What a treat and fun time that I still remember. Betty was a dear friend of mine ! We worked together at West End Fish stand . She taught us young girls how to keep cool when it was 100 degrees in there. She said ti wet this twirl down snd stick it in the freezer for 15 min then wrap it around your neck. I could see her now , plain as day working so hard making those orders. She was a trooper. Also I remember her always cutting out little clippings of a little girl that had sayings for a boyfriend. She would give them to me to give to my boyfriend. I just loved them. Also the fun time I had with her when she would invite me over to go horseback riding. The best was when I wanted to look cute riding for the first time I wore white tight jeans. Betty said oh Karla your going to get them so dirty. Lol. She told me yo try to ride without the saddle one time. Well damned if I didn’t . Lol. I loved this lady so much. She was the sweetest and most caring person I know. I will miss you my dear friend , Betty! You were a Angel to me then and now your an Angel up in heaven.
