I am so sorry to hear of Benny's passing. He had a smile or a laugh that would cheer you up. My condolences to you, Carol and your family. I saw him a few months ago. always with the same smile and laugh. He will be missed by everyone who went to school with him, and who knew him.

God speed Uncle Ben. I will miss your smile and your laugh. You had the best laugh. It filled a room and never failed to bring a smile to my face. My favorite memory of you is you driving to the pharmacy and around with Columbia with Suzi seat belted in the passenger seat. Practicing pet safety way before it was cool and so funny to see. But that is just how you were - considerate of everyone and everything. There is another hole in our family.
Say hi to Dad for me. I hope you guys get into some good-spirited arguments again. :)

So sorry for your loss Carol ,Chris and Brian.Benny was always a good friend to me and always was very kind I have lots of good memories of Benny when I worked at gruchala's,he was one of the best people I had met there.!!
Dad was one of the most unselfish people I have ever known. I have proof from around 1974. Dad was coaching baseball and I was for lack of a better term the team mascot. He had gotten ahold of one of the old/retired uniforms for me to wear to games. One of the boys (on the smaller side) forgot his uniform. Mine ended up being used in exchange as I went home to get clothes with Mom. I learned at a young age that the Bergmann standard is to give the shirt off your back if needed.
Ben gave us (my wife, daughters, grandkids me) a ride through the park, one summer
day in 2006.

Ben made me feel right at home on my first day at Grant's Farm and was a welcome co-worker for my six years there. Thank you Ben. RIP. Dale Lutz.
