Benjamin Sims' Obituary
Benjamin Sims, Jr., age 58, of Mount Vernon, IL, passed away on June 3, 2025. He was born June 14, 1966, in Belleville, IL., to Benjamin Sims, Sr. and Patricia M. Sims.
Ben was a loving father of three and grandfather of five. He was a business entrepreneur, and always had a positive outlook. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his son, Joel Sims of Punta Gorda, FL, daughter, Alesha Sims, Lesa Lynn Lawyer and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Sims, Sr.; mother, Patricia M. Sims; daughter, Cohren Sierra Hawley.
In accordance to his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no public services.
