Barbara J. Bense's Obituary
Barbara J., nee Hawkins, Bense, 54 yrs., of Fults, IL, passed away at Barnes Jewish Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. She was born in Washington, MO, the daughter of Ray and Catherine, nee Bigley, Hawkins. She was married to Raymond C. Bense, who survives her. They were married on October 27, 1979 in Columbia, IL. Barbara had been employed with the St. Clair County Humane Society, and had also worked at the Bradford Station, and Rural King in Waterloo, IL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waterloo, IL. She loved her family more than anything else, and Ray was her soul-mate. Barbara always had a fondness for all animals. She had a good sense of humor and was always the life of the party.
