She was preceded in death by first husband: Richard Alberter whom she married on May 21, 1946 at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL., Richard passed away December 16, 1972. Five years later she married her second husband: Carson ôCorkyö Eversmeyer, he passed away seven months later., also preceding are her parents: Joseph and Anna, nee Becker, Mueth, her son: Dennis ôBingö Alberter, son-in-law: Dennis ôDocö Marlen, granddaughter: Jodi Ann Alberter, great granddaughter: Sadie Ann Haag, brothers: Arthur, Henery, Herbert, Cletus, Emil and Raymond and a sister: Marcella in infancy. She is survived by her daughter: Nancy Marlen, her sons: Allen (Jane) Alberter and Gary Alberter, daughter-in-law: Marilyn Alberter, grandchildren: Michael Marlen, Lori (Matt) Haag, Mandy (Mike) Capell, Blake Alberter, Brett Alberter & Jen Wyatt, Eric, Ryan, A.J Alberter and Alex Alberter, great grandchildren: Andrew & Molly Haag, Claire & Cole Marlen, Lilly Grace & Lainey Mae Capell, and Colton Alberter, sister: Luella (George) Toenjes Jr., brothers: Sylvester ôTuffyö Mueth and Erwin ôTootiö Mueth, sister-in-law: Almira Mueth, step-children: Glenda Lowell, Cindy (Butch) Bertlesman and Gary Eversmeyer. Step grandchildren: Kara (Cory) Osburn, Emily Bertlesman, Kristin (Angie) Bertlesman, Brianne (Chad) Ricks, Aaron (Lindsey) Eversmeyer, step-great grandchildren: Yale Eversmeyer, Seith Wagner, Peyton Bertlesman and Gryfin Eversmeyer, She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Aurelia and her husband Richard started the West End Tavern in 1954. After Richards death in 1972, Aurelia ran the Tavern and the famous West End Fish Stand by herself with help from her family, Bing, Nancy, Allen and Gary and also help from other family members and friends. She retired on June 30, 1990, leaving her son Dennis ôBingö and his wife Marilyn to take over. Aurelia was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL., a life long member of the St. James Sodality, she was a volunteer for many church and school functions, member of the 50 & over club, American legion Post 502 ladies auxiliary, VFW Post 7980 ladies auxiliary and received the 25 year appreciation award from the post in 1994, life member and Vice President of the Illinois Retail Liquor Association, charter member of the Urusline Sisters auxiliary of Belleville, IL. since 1954, life time member of the Smithton Turner Auxiliary. She was the first lady to be inducted into the Mon-Clair Hall of Fame in 2000. She was the Blood Bank Chairman for 38 years. She received many awards for 20, 25 and 30 years of service as well as many other awards. She received the Volunteer Service Award from the American Red Cross in April of 1998 at the Junior League of St. Louis, the Lights Over St. Louis Award and the Dedicated Community Service award from the Bluff Grange in 1994. She also received the Outstanding Community Award from the VFW at the State Convention in Chicago in June of 1998, she was a life member and active in the Tavern Owners Association. Memorials may be made to the family to be used according to Aurelia's wishes.
