Arthur Weinel's Obituary
Arthur Weinel, 92 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away August 30, 2011. He was born in Columbia, IL, the son of the late Louis Philip and Edna Dorothea (Schoening) Weinel. Arthur had worked at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., St. Louis, MO, where he had been an award winning regional sales manager. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of World War II. He was married to his soul mate, the late Ruth (Love) Weinel. They were married on September 27, 1941. Art was a devoted husband and father, who was the consummate "family man".
