Arthur Gauvain's Obituary
Arthur Gauvain, 85 yrs., of Waterloo, IL, passed away at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Town and Country, MO. He was born in Lynn, MA, the son of the late Arthur J. and Helen (Marr) Gauvain. Arthur served as a Navy Seal in the U. S. Navy, and was a Veteran of WW II & The Korean War, was a member of NARF National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbia, IL. He was a retired civil servant working for the U.S. Government as an analyst.
He was married to Christine (Dalman) Gauvain, who survives him. They were married on May 5, 2007, at Duquoin, IL.
