Arlou M., nee Wischmeier, Steele , 79, of Columbia, IL, passed away at Canterbury Manor Nursing Center, Waterloo, IL. She was born in Waterloo, IL, the daughter of the late Lydia (Schewe) Wischmeier, and step-daughter of the late Clarence Stoner. She had worked Weilbacher's Grocery Store, Columbia, IL, was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, enjoyed bowling, and was an avid Cardinal's fan. She was married to Donald P. Steele, who survives her. They were married on September 11, 1954, at Waterloo, IL.
