Arland G. Rey's Obituary
Arland G. Rey, 92 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. He was born in Valmeyer, IL, the son of the late Albert and Adele, nee Schuchardt, Rey. Arland was a member of American Legion Post #581, Columbia, IL, (member for over 65 years), and where he had been active with the color guard and had served in every capacity of the organization over the years. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of WW II and the Korean War. Arland had retired from National Lead Co. after 18 yrs.of service and did not miss a single day of work. He was married to Marian, nee Dotzauer, Rey. They were married on April 20, 1991, in Columbia, IL.
