Anna Elizabeth "Bette" Foster's Obituary
Anna Elizabeth "Bette" Foster, nee Matlock, 95 years of Waterloo, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at her residence. She was born November 3, 1929, in McClure, IL.
Bette was a member Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL. Bette volunteered with CBA Twigs of Dupo and she enjoyed camping and their winters in Florida with the "Dirty Dozen".
Surviving are her children, Kathy (Tim) Green, Kerry (Vicki) Foster and Kimberly Cassady, of Waterloo, IL, her grandchildren, Russell (Marillyn Goodsell) , Kelly (Lee Ann), Travis (Jessie), Kirk (Chuck) and Lizzy, her great-grandchildren, Kendall (Bailey), Timothy, Ben and Jake, her great-great grandchildren, Colin, Liam, Vivian and Fletcher, her brother Donald Matlock, along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harry John Foster Jr. her sons-in-law, Paul R. Ezzell Sr., and Ed Cassady, her grandson, Brandon, her parents, Ernest and Maud, nee Markert, Matlock, her brother, Darryl Matlock and her sister, Judy Matlock.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL. A celebration of life will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Todd Mushaney, officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, IL., or Community Back Pack Angels.
