Anetha C. Schiemer's Obituary
Anetha C., nee Fischer, Schiemer, 99 yrs., of Columbia, IL, passed away at Columbia Rehab. and Nursing Center, Columbia, IL. She was born in New Hanover, IL, the daughter of the late Henry and Katherine (Stumpf) Fischer. Anetha was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, IL, where she had been active with the quilters. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and loved to play Kloepper, whenever she could. She and her husband Carl had owned and operated the Schiemer Insurance Agency in Columbia, IL. She was married to the late Carl L. Schiemer. They were married on May 15, 1937, at New Hanover, IL. He passed away November 18, 1999.
