OBITUARY
Alvin "Pete" Martin Riechmann Jr.
Alvin Martin Riechmann Jr., 76 years old, of Red Bud, IL, passed away on March 8, 2018 in Carrollton, Kentucky. He was born July 10, 1941, in Belleville, IL. Alvin was a member of the Local 520 for 43 years, and a heavy equipment operator for Luhr Brothers for 35 years. He and his wife are life time members of the American-International Charolais Association.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred "Lea" Riechmann, nee Adkins, his children, Annette (Mitch Greenhill) Riechmann, Mark Riechmann, Matthew (Lisa) Riechmann, Larry (Gayle) Cahoon, and Gary (Shana) Cahoon, and his sister, Diane (Paul) Nottmeier.
His grandchildren, Colton Riechmann, Cameron Riechmann, Celsea Riechmann, Katie Riechmann, Jacob Riechmann, Caleb Riechmann, Emily Riechmann, LeaAnn Mamino, Tommy Cahoon, and Kyle Cahoon.
Great grandchildren, Scott Rapien, Hope Mamino, and Zane Mamino, along with nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean Riechmann, nee Moehrs, his father Alvin Martin Riechmann Sr, and his mother, Annabelle Elizabeth Riechmann, nee Durrer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 13th, at the Koch Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud, Illinois from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14th, at the Koch Liefer Funeral Home at 11 a.m., with Pastor David Griggs officiating. A visitation beginning at 10 a.m. will be held Wednesday morning before the service. Interment will follow at the St. Marcus Cemetery in Red Bud, Illinois.
