Mrs. Schaller was preceded in death by her husband: Walter J. Schaller, whom she married April 27, 1932 at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois and who died February 9, 1948, her parents: Julius and Amalia Sutter, nee Scharf, her son: Walter A. Schaller Jr., and two sisters: Malinda (Christ) Bender and Mathilda (Theodore) Kraft. Mrs. Schaller is survived by her son: Melvin Schaller, her daughter: Shirley M. Simmonds, her daughter-in-law: Doris Schaller, nee Rapp, her son-in-law: Norman H. Simmonds, her five grandsons: Kevin Schaller, Brad (Eileen) Schaller, Michael (Jamie) Simmonds, Doug (Kelly) Simmonds, and David Simmonds, her eight great grandchildren: Travis, Brooke, & Dylan Schaller, Amanda, Lauren, Emily, Nicholas, and Hannah Simmonds, her sister: Viola (Harold) Ruhman, also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
